Our Purpose

Buddhist Peace Fellowship is a BIPOC, queer and trans-led Dharma organization that offers opportunities for practice, education and spiritual friendship, in service of personal and relational awakening and collective compassionate action.

We work to amplify the kind of spiritual power that can interrupt violence, internally and externally, and seed the conditions for a world beyond domination, with fierce love at the center.

Who We Serve

Our programs serve all practitioners – Buddhist and beyond – who are forwarding social, environmental, economic and/or healing justice as critical components of their spiritual practice.

We lift up the voices and priorities of Black, Indigenous, and Asian Heritage Buddhists, and center the values of disability justice, queer feminism, and regenerative economics in our work.

Our intention is to resource and weave a multi-lineage, multi-racial, intergenerational web of individuals and communities who are nourished by Engaged Buddhism to deepen our spiritual paths, support each other to survive and/or interrupt organized violence, and mobilize together for collective care and systemic change.
