BPF will have a table at the Green Party Festival "A Green
World is Possible".
Washington Square Park
11 AM-7 PM
Sunday August 29
10 AM Meet at Washington Square Park by the fountain for sitting
meditation
11:30 AM Walk together to the United For Peace and Justice March
(14th Street, 6th Avenue)
12 noon March*
After the march Sitting meditation again (location to be determined,
probably Washington Square Park)
* The NYC BPF chapter is planning to participate as a group in this
march and welcomes anyone to join them. They will be walking in
silence, and are encouraging people to wear white shirts or scarves.
They are planning to carry signs with messages of nonviolence on
them.
Meditation during the RNC: Monday August 30 - Thursday September

All are invited to join in these sittings. Please bring a cushion
to sit on, and if possible an extra cushion.
We'll be sitting near Bryant Park, at the corner of 40th Street
and Avenue of the Americas, approximately 9:30 am
to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday August 30-September 2.
We will be up in the outer park area, not down on the sidewalk by
the traffic.
Meditation will start on each hour and half hour, with 20 minutes
of sitting followed by 10 minutes of walking. If you'd like to ask
questions or talk with us, please come during walking meditation.
After 5:30 it is possible that we could do walking meditation down
34th street, the closest one can get to the convention site.
Also at Washington Square Park the same days, 7-9 AM, 12-2 PM,
and 6-8 PM.

Aug 30, 31, Sept 2: Teen Plaza in Fountain Area, across from Arch
Sept 1: Holly Plaza, West Side of Park, off MacDougal
