For the past year Sarah Weintraub, a young Buddhist woman from the San Francisco Bay Area, has been a witness to the extraordinary experiment in nonviolence of the peasant farmer community of San Jose de Apartodó in Northen Columbia. Sarah is eager to share her experiences of living in and accompanying this rural community and their experiment of nonviolent resistance, perseverance and hope in the midst of war. All are welcome and although donations are requested, no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
