BPF in Solidarity with the Monks and People of Burma

BPF members joined people from the Burmese American Democratic Alliance this afternoon in front of the Chinese Consulate in San Francisco, to sit and stand in solidarity with the monks and people of Burma.  Many demonstrators wore shalls or swaths of red cloth to show their support for the monks protesting in Burma.  BPF led the protesters in a silent, standing meditation, and chanting of the Metta Sutta.
