Tenzin Robert Thurman is a scholar, author, former Tibetan Buddhist monk, Director of Tibet House in New York City, and close personal friend of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. He is the author of numerous books and articles, including his recent book, Inner Revolution: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Real Happiness. Professor Thurman is one of the Buddhist Peace Fellowship's charter members.

An African-American former Trappist monk and senior Buddhist teacher, Bhante Suhita Dharma has a degree in social work and has worked extensively with homeless people, people with AIDS, prison inmates, and a broad range of social service projects in the United States and internationally over the past 40 years. Bhante is a member of the Buddhist Peace Fellowship's International Advisory Council. |
