$500 award to best essay on issue theme from writers 30 years and younger
offered by Turning Wheel for essays from a Buddhist perspective.

Theme:  Nourishment

Wqe'd like to hear your story of how you've been inspired, nourished, or sustained. How have you fed others? What is nourishing to you as an engaged Buddhist or as an activist? What strengthens your courage or keeps you from giving up? What is the middle way between hunger and greed? What dharma teachings help you to move away from constant indulgence?

Deadline:  July 10, 2007

Writer must be 30 years old or under, and not previously published in Turning Wheel.

Articles should be 1000-3000 words, and may be submitted by e-mail or regular mail.

Please clearly mark submission "Young Writers Award" and include cover letter.
