Volunteer Tasks

We try to make the best use of your valuable time and energies as a volunteer. Here are some of the many tasks that we need your special skills for!

• Correspondence: Dharma pen-pal relationship with a prisoner ; answering prisoners' requests for books and dharma materials.
• Computer work: assistance with technical stuff
• Copying prison packets
• Finding resources for ex-prisoners and prisoners
• Filing prison-related news articles
• Finding new sources of new donated Buddhist books
• Helping to staff Prison Project public events
• Mailing Turning Wheel to prisoners once each quarter
• Office organization, upkeep
• Phoning other volunteers, or for BPF PP events
