Patricia Justine Tumang is co-editor of the anthology Homelands: Women's Journeys Across Race, Place, and Time (Seal Press 2006), in which her essay "Filipino Secrets and American Dreams" appears. In 2006, she earned an MFA in English and Creative Writing from Mills College in Oakland, California. Her commitment to social justice, feminism, and contemplative practice permeates her life, writing, and activism.

Patricia's writing has appeared in several Seal Press anthologies including Abortion Under Attack: Women on the Challenges Facing Choice (2006) and Colonize This! Young Women of Color on Today's Feminism (2002). Tumang also serves on the Editorial Board of Exhale's Our Truths/Nuestras Verdades, a grassroots bilingual (Spanish/English) magazine focused on women's experiences with abortion, and she is also an editor at Hyphen, a magazine about Asian American pop culture.
