BPF 2008 Focus

Cultivating Peace, Dismantling War, Human Rights

We are the Chicago Chapter of the Buddhist Peace Fellowship. We formed our chapter in 2004 and have been meeting once a month at different dharma centers in the Chicago area. We embrace diversity and invite anyone to join our meetings and our community.

David Loy is Besl Family Chair of Ethics, Religion & Society at Xavier University. He is a Buddhist philosopher and social critic, and the author of several books including The Great Awakening: A Buddhist Social Theory and most recently Money, Sex, War, Karma: Notes for a Buddhist Revolution.
